Deco Debutante Shoot!

‘Deco Debutante’ shoot at the wonderful Warren House  was something that I had been meaning to do for a very long time. After all the hubbub of my fair www.missvintageaffair.co.uk had died down a bit the first person I wanted to contact was Annamarie Stepney Photography, who really does take a wonderful picture. After meeting and discuss with other suppliers we decided to go ahead with the wonderful Warren House in a quiet little spot in Kingston, Surrey .

In the early 1900s, Warren House was the ideal setting for royal hospitality and society parties. The Paget’s , the owners of Warren House, were great friends of King Edward and featured prominently in both London and New York societies. Lady Paget was the former Miss Minnie Stevens of New York, “who had created quite a stir in London with her beauty”. In August 1906, The New York Times wrote that, “Lady Paget has been successful in advancing the interests in fashionable society in London of her American friends.
The style of this shoot was themed around style icons from the 30's such as Wallis Simpson, and the glamour of the actress Romola Garai in the film Glorious 39.
It was an amazing day... and here is a little preview of what is to come a bit later in the month. Check out the amazing pink and green layered cake! My personal favourite!
